Socks-Trumpettetoo

i went to target yesterday and found trumpettetoo socks!!!!!!!!! i was a little excited because when lizzy was born we got hand me down trumpette socks. so adorable, and they actually stay on little feet.

the difference? from what i can see, it's the logo on the bottom, targets say trumpettetoo. but they actually feel thicker. they are cute as heck and cheaper too! unfortunately not cheap enough for me to buy all the little styles.

here is lizzy with her trumpettes on!

here are madisons little feet with trumpettetoos on!

Nap Time........

so here we are again, 3pm and no naps happening anywhere. maybe i took it for granted when elizabeth was taking such nice long naps. madison seems to have skipped napping altogether and is up all day it seems, but she does sleep all night, so who am i to complain?

elizabeth has come to realize that if she says she has to poop, i will come to her rescue. i have stopped but still no napping. who knew a cowboy hat and bandanna did the trick. its something different everyday. only took an hour and twenty minutes. damn i am good.

next day 4pm and no naps. i have to get on some sort of schedule! do i just have to deal with the hysterical screaming day after day until she gets it?

umm?

WARNING:you will not find correct puncuation or grammar on this site, sorry.

today is my first blog ever. Hmm, the reason i have started this is because my almost 3 year old woke me up at 5am having a tantrum because she did not like her pants. are you kidding? i guess i should start with some backstory.

my name is lauren, i am for the most part a stay at home mom. i have two wonderful girls elizabeth, almost 3 and madison, 4 months. i have an amazing husband, wait dont they all start off this way. sure everyone is wonderful but we are a real family and we all have our moments. he does forget that the garbage has to be taken out, the girls do cry and have tantrums, and mama does think shes sucking pretty bad at this mommy thing sometimes! Haha. so i figured hey i like reading about other moms bad days, it helps me realize its not just me and mommys are not perfect. though the illusion is nice sometimes.

so anyway, my elizabeth woke up at 5am, probably from the noise my hubs makes when he gets up at 4:45. she stands at the gate in her doorway, "mama, i need healp!" yes thats how she says it. then it goes, i dont like these pants i dont like my bed i dont like night time, i dont like sleep. it turns into an a.m. explosion. how did this happen? they baby wakes up too. Ugh. why do children do this? the world may never know. but right now this is the stage shes in and i have to figure out how the hell i am going to get thru it! and this is how my blog begins. lovely.
